Hollyoaks get cheeky with Mankey Monkey!

The cast of Hollyoaks got cheeky when they met their very own Mankey Monkey! He's a student geek Monkey who'll be living in the Hollyoaks Student Union bar while the Mankey Monkeys are on show.

He filmed his first scenes yesterday, and you can see him starring on the hit Channel 4 soap from around the middle of March! The Monkey's plinth will be signed by the cast, and auctioned off in April with the rest of his Mankey family to raise money for Alder Hey Imagine Appeal.

Chief Monkey WAG Eirin Hallangen-Lake, a professional actress herself, has prepared the Monkey for his national TV debut, "Although he only has a supporting role in Hollyoaks, our Monkey will be responible for setting the tone of each scene, adding a gravitas to the SU bar as the drama unfolds. He is a complete natural talent, and will be the face to watch this Oscar season."
