What is a Mankey Monkey?
A Mankey Monkey is an awesomely brilliant, extra cool Monkey from the jungle. Unusually, they hatch from eggs as this documentary footage shows.
Why have they come here?
To make us smile and laugh! They're going to show us how they rumble in the jungle, and give their zany, cheeky display of mad monkey magic. They'll also be bringing you some awesome giveaways, competitions and surprises from our Monkey fosterers! They also want to remind us that their jungle home is still in danger, so want to highlight the great work some of their human friends are doing to help their primate cousins.
Not to mention the fact that the Mankey Monkeys will also be raising piles of cash for the cheeky little monkeys at Alder Hey Imagine Appeal!

January 2010, but you can watch our monkey business right now in our Liverpool One HQ on Hanover Street! We'll have the exact dates soon.
Where do the Monkeys go when its finished?
They'll go into the grand charity auction for Alder Hey Imagine Appeal, when they'll be fully adopted! Most of them will then be back on show throughout the city for you to visit anytime!

Where can I see them?
All over Liverpool in all sorts of places. Most of the Mankey Monkeys will be inside, as they don't like the cold, though you may see a few crazy ones hanging out of windows! Our interactive map will show you where to find each Monkey. There'll also be a real-world map for when you're out and about on the monkey trail.
There may also be a celebrity Mankey Monkey only seen on TV...!
