Soft Octopus Design Studio

Soft Octopus is a different kind of design studio, where ethics and values are as important as creativity. We're small, but perfectly formed and specialise in working with clients from the health, care, charity and social sectors - important areas that can impact on, and enrich people’s lives. We take pride, and enjoy being a part of this.

The studio was set up by Creative Director - Andrew Dineley after more than twenty years managing an award winning design team in the NHS. Whilst working for the NHS, he created many well-loved and acclaimed campaigns. We're concerned with much more than how pretty or 'cutting edge' graphic design can be and based on years of experience, know that well considered messages, combined with compelling design and effective promotion can genuinely affect behaviour change.

Good design comes from having a good time and believing in what you do. Like an octopus, the studio has many tentacles to create a diversity of items for a wide range of media. we like to talk before we get the job started and begin the creative process. If it seems design isn't going to be the right solution, we'll be honest about it; even if this involves encouraging the client to spend less money or go elsewhere. How unconventional is that?
